Description
This full-size cowboy hat was hand-turned from solid hickory, known for its strength, density, and striking grain patterns. The wide sweeping brim and smooth crown are shaped entirely by hand, then carefully finished to highlight the natural tone variations of the wood. Around the base of the crown, a darkened band was created using walnut pressure-burning — a traditional technique that leaves a deep, rich contrast and gives the hat a classic, time-worn look.
At 15 inches front to back and 13.5 inches wide, this piece commands attention as a display centerpiece. The interior crown cavity measures 7.75” x 8.25” and stands 4.75” tall, mirroring the proportions of a real hat while remaining a purely decorative work of art.
